Fox has unveiled the first official trailer for Tim Burton's latest film, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, adapted from Ransom Riggs' best-selling novel of the same name. This film feels a bit like Tim Burton's X-Men, featuring numerous children with special powers living in a home for the gifted. Eva Green plays Miss Peregrine, who oversees the "home for peculiar children". Samuel L. Jackson plays the villain known as Barron. This first trailer introduces most of the ensemble cast, including Asa Butterfield, Lauren McCrostie, Pixie Davies, Cameron King, twins Thomas & Joseph Odwell, Allison Janney, Judi Dench and Ella Purnell. I'm certainly intrigued! This looks fun. Burton gets back to being weird with his next film, titled Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, adapted from a series of young adult books about "bizarre tales and photos of levitating girls and invisible boys."
