Mujtaba Saeed is a director and writer living and working between Germany and Saudi Arabia. Graduated from the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg with a specialization in Scenic Film Direction. Mujtaba founded the Amwaj Theatrical Troupe in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. Mujtaba received a number of awards for his plays and films, in 2022 he won Best Feature Script on "Drowning", in addition to being awarded Gold Palm Tree for Best Short Film on his film "Zawal". In 2015, he was chosen as the best Saudi director as part of the program "In The Eyes of Saudis" by MBC. He also directed and wrote many films between the Arab world and Europe that were showcased in festivals.
