Justine Bertrand is a French filmmaker based in New York City.
She started working as a focus puller and camera operator on music videos, commercials, and some fiction work. Thanks to her network she has been able to work very quickly on big projects with good cameras such as Alexa Mini, Red Weapon, Red Gemini, Red Scarlett, Sony F5, and Ursa Mini.
Before she joined the camera department, she had been working as an assistant producer, assistant director, and location manager for 2 years. She has been working as a production assistant on an international Feature Film and as 1st assistant director on several projects. The experience she has gained during those years taught her to be well-organized, to deal with any situation and stress, and to be very serious at her work. Skills that are very useful to her today as focus puller and camera operator.
On a personal level, she is always eager to learn more about filmmaking. She is highly organized and extremely attentive to detail.
