Emerson Moore is an American filmmaker known for his work as a director, writer, and editor. He made his directorial debut with Escape The Field (2022), a survival mystery about six strangers who wake up trapped in a vast cornfield, forced to solve cryptic puzzles to escape. Starring Shane West, Theo Rossi, and Jordan Claire Robbins, the film highlighted Moore's visual storytelling and ability to craft tension and intrigue. Despite a mismanaged production - during which key scenes, including an important act break and the film's crucial ending, were never filmed - Escape The Field found success with a limited theatrical release from Lionsgate and an exclusive run on Peacock.
Moore's previous works include writing and directing the short film It Lives Below (2019), editing the films Back on the Strip (2023) and Ghosts of War (2020), and executive producing Assassination Nation (2018).
As of 2025, Moore is working on his next feature film, LURE - an ambitious project that continues his exploration of complex storytelling and visually driven narratives. While details remain under wraps, the film seeks to expand his creative range and further solidify his distinct directorial voice.
