Galina Zhirova was born on 7 May 1926 in Khabarovsk, USSR (now Russia). She was an actress, known for Deti solntsa (1956), Eto bylo vesnoy (1960) and Utro vechera mudreneye (1981). She was married to Andrei Sova. She died on 14 February 2003 in Kyiv, Ukraine.
