Paulo J. Mendes (born February 20, 1981) is a Portuguese composer, multi-instrumentalist, and the founder of the production music company Studio Seven.
He is best known for writing epic music public albums and soundtracks for movies, media and video game trailers. Mendes started his musical career as a Guitarist and Composer, writing tracked music for several bands in metal and rock style during the late 1990s. On the 2000s (decade) Mendes has done Musical Composition and Orchestration as an Ghostwriter for several artists and bands in several music styles.
In January 2014, after receiving some support and acclaim in the music industry on some of his trailer and epic musical themes that were present on his first industry demo music CD titled "Reborn", Mendes decided to open his own company Studio Seven and started to record and compose music ( trailer, neo-orchestral, soundtrack and epic music ) for Media, TV, Movie and Videogames.
2016 saw the release of his first emotional orchestral, vocal and choral Epic music album, titled Elementia I. on which the singles Gates of Adastria and Elysian Fields were praised as one of the best songs in Epic music during May and June 2016 by EpicMusic VN. a EMC Channel and also saw several licenses being sold to several short movies and trailers. His second solo public album called Exodus of the Old Gods was released in June 2016. He has also released several commercial singles since 2016 including Path of the Titans which was one of the songs from Mendes first demo album "Reborn: Tales of Adastria". Also Eternal Game one of the movies on which Mendes composed the Soundtrack was nominated for best Drama, best Role and best support role on TPN Film Fest in Atlanta, Georgia (U.S. state).
