Fisnik was born in Kosovo. Exiled in Switzerland, he studied International Relations at the University of Geneva, then a Master in Geopolitics at King's College London. Later, he studies a Master in Film at ECAL/HEAD (Switzerland), which launches his career in filmmaking.
He has presented his work (among others) at Locarno, Tallinn Black Nights, Raindance, Guanajuato, Clermont-Ferrand, Visions du Réel, Sao Paolo, Los Angeles, Montréal, and all his films have been broadcasted on various TV channels.
He is an alumni of Berlinale Talents, Ateliers d'Angers and Sarajevo Talents.
