Saulius Baradinskas is an award-winning film director from Vilnius, Lithuania. In 2021 Saulius premiered his second short film "Techno, Mama" in the 78th edition of the Venice Film Festival. After being shortlisted, in 2022 the short film was officially nominated for best short film in the 2022 European Film Academy Awards. The short film was screened in more than 100 film festivals and won over 37 awards and special mentions. In 2023 Saulius Baradinskas has been accepted to study Masters's in Film Directing at the American Film Institute Conservatory in Los Angeles Hollywood. Saulius has directed and filmed various projects in Japan, the UK, France, and Germany.
In 2020 Saulius was selected as one of the Berlinale Talents in the 70th Berlinale Film Festival. Saulius directed works have reached more than 100 million views on the Youtube platform. In 2018 Saulius directed a commercial feature film comedy "Grazinti Nepriklausomybe" which was a blockbuster. He also directs commercials & music videos. In 2019 Saulius premiered his debut short film "Golden Minutes". This short film was filmed in one take and on film. The main role was created by famous Scottish actor Billy Boyd, who starred in Lord Of The Rings. The short film was screened in Louvre at Rencontres Internationally Paris/Berlin festival, won various awards, and traveled to more than 50 film festivals around the world.
Saulius is noticed for directing music videos that already got recognition in the Baltic states. In the 2018 annual music video awards, Saulius was selected as the best director of the year and won the best music video award for directing.
