Marian Hill is a musical electronic duo from Pennsylvania, USA. Their members are Samantha Gongol and Jeremy Lloyd.
After meeting each other at Haverford High School, Jeremy studied music theatre at Yale University and Samantha attended Muhlenberg College before transferring to music business at New York University, and music industry at Drexel University.
They released their debut EP, Play, in 2013, and released their second EP, Sway, in 2015. The duo released four singles throughout 2016, leading up to their debut album Act One, which was a genuine commercial success, peaking at No. 3 on the Billboard Top 40 Alternative as well as at No. 5 on its Top 40 Rock songs chart. Additionally, "Act One" produced several hit singles such as "I Want You" and "I Know Why", as well as "Down" which peaked at No. 21 on the Billboard's Hot 100 chart, and later earned Platinum ratings for selling more than one million copies.
In April 2016, the duo released an extended version of their debut album Act One titled Act One (The Complete Collection).
Into the limelight Marian Hill came in early 2017 when the above-mentioned hit single "Down" was used in the video commercial for Apple's iPhone 7,
In 2018 released the EP "Unusual", followed by "Was it not" (2020) and "Why can't we just pretend?".
They are collaborated how composer for Inna, Yandel, and make video-clip with Yung Baby Tate, and their song formed soundtrack of Jem and the Holograms (2015) or Fifty Shades Freed (2018).
