Tracey is a multifaceted creative professional with a background in television, event and film production, and music curation. With an ever-evolving skill set, she seamlessly transitions between producing independent projects, curating multi-genre music experiences, and developing compelling narratives that inspire and connect audiences.
Passionate about championing emerging talent, Tracey founded the "UP Faith & Family Screenplay Competition" in partnership with UPtv the American Black Film Festival (ABFF) in 2011. This was the first festival competition format to feature a live celebrity table read, leading to at least seven television premiere movies by emerging talent across two networks. No being afraid to try something new, Tracey returned to ABFF in 2015 with "UP Flip the Script to Series: Remixing the Development Pipeline," the festival's first series-based competition. In 2017, she had the honor of launching a screenplay competition program for the Kingdomwood International Film Festival.
Her dedication to storytelling extends to her own work having written and produced "One Hour," her first comedic short film that aired July 2021 on Aspire TV's "Urban Indie Film Block." As she continues to evolve, Tracey blends storytelling with her love for diverse indie music genres to create immersive listening experiences with the launch of "It's a Lofi Life" (@itsalofilife) YouTube channel. Explore and enjoy Tracey's latest work blending music and visuals-perfect for studying or finding a creative spark.
Beyond entertainment, being a part of a cancer care ministry is the most meaningful as it offers the opportunity to leverage and develop Tracey's skills as tools for awareness, empowerment, advocacy and impact. Whether producing behind the scenes, curating sonic experiences, or leading initiatives that amplify underrepresented voices, Tracey remains open to new creative opportunities that align with her passion for storytelling, innovation, and impact.
