Ratan Talukder

Ratan Talukdar was born in Myanmar in 1957, January 28th. His father, Dr Adhir Ranjan Talukdar was a Medical doctor working for the British Army in Myanmar. They relocated in Chittagong, Bangladesh in 1965.
Ratan Talukdar started Martial arts in the 70s and was a big fan of Martial Arts films. The first film he acted in was Bir Purush (1988). He made his name in Bojro Mushti (1989) and acted in about 15 films. He also played one of the main roles as ''Ilias'' in Lompot (1996). He also worked as a Fight Director in some films. He often worked with Rubel, Humayun Faridi, Ilias Cobra. Most of his films directed by Shahidul Islam Khokon.
Recently, Ratan Takuldar dedicated his career in Martial arts in Southeast Asia as one of the leading Instructors in the continent. He obtained 7 Degree Black belt from WUKF and many others. He is the founder and Chief coach of Honke Shotokan Karate-Do Association Bangladesh. He is also the Vice-Chairman of Bangladesh Karate Referee Association.
