Dominican filmmaker. Fulbright Grantee 2013-2015. Has a Master's Degree in Fine Arts in Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy.
In 2009, he participated as Director of Photography in the short documentary "Apeco Pure, Witnesses of my Life." It narrates the life of the famous Dominican photographer and artist Natalio 'Apeco' Puras. Oliver realized several studies and workshops in cinematography, production, script and participated in some small productions as a complement of his career as an architect.
During the year 2010, he traveled around the world, as team coordinator and photographer, with the Dominican athlete and ultra distance open water swimmer Marcos Díaz on his project "Swim Across the Continents With The United Nations for The Millennium Development Goals." The project, co-sponsored by the United Nations, aimed to raise awareness of the Millennium Development Goals through sports performing long distance swimming crossings connecting the 5 Continents. Oliver defined this project as a life changing experience that motivated him to make the decision to turn in to Filmmaking.
