Maya Lavelle (born June 2, 1992) is a singer-songwriter and composer living in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. As a classically trained composer, she won prizes such as for 'Best Piece' in the Young Composers Meeting competition in Netherlands. She was chosen to represent Netherlands for the Berlin International Film Festival in the Berlinale Talent Campus as a Film Composer. She also graduated with a Masters degree in Composition from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
Maya composed several music for film and ads. She released her debut pop single "This Ain't The End" in March 2016 which premiered on the film "The Rift" starring actors from "The Wolf of Wall Street", "Dawn of the Dead" and "RocknRolla". She describes the song as "electronic pop clashing with powerful brooding symphonies, best enjoyed with some bourbon"! Several blog reported that this song would play on The Walking Dead season 6 finale but she denied these rumors.
