Franklyn James, a native Californian, has gone full circle in the motion picture and television industry, currently CEO Of Location Site Representation LLC
Franklyn is the Executive Director of (BACS) Black American Cinema Society. He is also the CEO of Studio Lighting Creations INC a motion picture and television lighting Company.
Producing and directing are just a few credit listed on his resume. Franklyn received an Emmy Award "For Outstanding Individual Achievement In Lighting on the first season of "Home Improvement", He was promoted to Director of Photography on the comedy series, "Where I Live". His technical experience behind the camera enabled him to segue into producing, writing and directing. Franklyn believes that the true story must continue to be told so that African Americans will not be portrayed by Hollywood as a weak, docile, fun loving, irresponsible, violent and victimized human being.
