The ambitious Brazilian's trajectory began in his hometown, Campo Grande MS. While getting his undergraduate degree there in Journalism, Da Silva produced two documentaries, one exploring the transgender community and another focusing on street children of Brazil.
His passion for filmmaking is more deeply rooted. A Terena Indian and son of a cleaning woman, Da Silva hailed from a very poor household and his childhood prospects were not bright but for his indomitable spirit and early fascination with film. At the age of 8, during a blessing at Aldeia Cachoeirinha, in Miranda MS, his uncle Afonso, as well-known shaman responsible of these rituals at the time, said "this boy will fly high". The expression, used to demonstrate the conquest of the other places, and of a destination that would take you far from your origins proved his uncle right.
In the USA, Diogo also acted in the film " Magic Hour", which is the post-production phase, and he is currently responsible for the production of the "Mutantes Supercar" project, recorded in Los Angeles, LAs Vegas and Miami (this project is underway). In laughing " Deconstructing Val", he celebrates the achievement.
