Brazilian screenwriter Raul Perez pens scripts for the popular Netflix Brazil series "Sintonia" and the Paramount+ limited series "Anderson SPIDER Silva," depicting the life of the UFC Champion. His feature films and series have been chosen for prestigious international film markets such as Ventana Sur (Argentina), IDFA FORUM (Netherlands), and SERIESMANIA (France/Brazil). He attended the intensive Filmmaking workshop at the New York Film Academy on a scholarship awarded by the São Paulo City Hall in 2023/2024. Raul is also the co-founder of Mundi, a production company dedicated to fostering Afro-Brazilian narratives, and Nicho 54, an institute focused on promoting the inclusion of Black professionals in Brazil's film industry. Additionally, he participated in the screenwriter development lab hosted by Netflix Brazil and the 2020 Black Narratives Lab organized by TV GLOBO/FLUP.
