Recognized as one of the highest-grossing actors of 2021 on the Nollywood big screen, Ben is known for his dynamic range of on-screen personalities. His recent class acts include Philo in 'Before Valentines', Kunle in 'Lockdown' and Chidi in the Netflix Original 'The Party'. More, in the gang up saga as Obaro in 'Kamsi' and in the psychological thriller as Alfred in 'Crazy People'.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Valley View University, Accra, Ghana. He got involved in several tech startups before deciding to give his passion for filmmaking and acting a go. He graduated from Del-York Creative Academy in 2019, where he was trained and coached by John Richardson, a Hollywood acting coach. The evidence of this can be seen in his blood-curdling performances in the movies 'Time and Chance' and 'Beyond Repair'. The latter was nominated for Best Nollywood Movie, and Ben was nominated for Best Actor Africa at the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival in 2020.
He won Best Original Series at the AMVCA 2022 for the Netflix series 'The Mystic River' as the lead actor of the show. He also won Next Rated Actor at the African Choice Awards in 2019.
Ben was first discovered by Royal Arts Academy, in 'Lagos Cougars', a romantic comedy of 2013. He was discovered again by Ebonylife Media, and cast in the African adaptation of 'Desperate Housewives Africa Series' in 2015, 'Life 101 Series' 2017, and more recently in Castle & Castle Netflix Series, which catapulted Ben to the limelight.
In 2017, Ben became Obaro in 'Saro The Musical', known as one of Nigeria's best exports of stage and theater to the world. It was performed live in London at the Shaw Theatre.
Despite the great heights his acting career has reached, Ben is still a tech entrepreneur and businessman, a humble polymath who has a broad interest of knowledge and enjoys to learn.
