Joseph L. Whitfield originally from Greenwood, Mississippi is an American journalist, actor, men rights activist, blogger, YouTube personality, social and political commentator, focusing on the psychology of dating, relationships and African-American social history, which he was born in Greenwood, Mississippi on May 28, 1981. Joseph began his child life as an actor in his hometown of Greenwood, Ms. He became the first child actor of his family to be an featured extra in few motion pictures/independent film projects.
He later moved to the Jackson, Ms, area where he was featured in his first film in 1991 in Mississippi Masala. However during throughout the years his passion for film and television was always a dream for him, so he continued to be an featured extra in few motion pictures. During the latter half of the 2002, he was featured in three more theatrical films and the direct-to-video (in the US). Since that time, his career has shifted almost entirely to direct-to-video films (often low budget productions and shot in different areas across the country. At the age of 34, he returned to the big screen as another featured extra in the 2011 film The Help.
