The director and screenwriter Alex Gargot was born in Barcelona. His first short film Amo, produced by ESCAC Films, was released in the official section in the Sitges Film Festival in October 2016 and won three jury awards, in Utopiales Festival (France), Fantastic Planet (Sydney) and Piélagos (Spain). Then he got into directing music videos with which he has won best electronic music video in UKMVA (London, 2019), best international video in Soundie (Barcelona, 2019), best international video in BAMVF (Buenos Aires 2020 and 2021), and has been nominated to several other festivals like Latin Grammys (Las Vegas, 2021) or Ciclope (Berlin, 2021).
