Shashank Sharma was born in Sharjah United Arab Emirates to Indian parents.
He completed schooling in Dubai and studied film at Lancaster University in England. After graduating he moved to India to work in theatre under the tutelage of veteran stage director Mr. Feisal Alkazi.
Shashank recently completed training on the MA Acting International program in London's East 15 Acting School. He is visually impaired by birth.
