Dan Sheader

Daniel Sheader is a British Actor, born and raised in Bolton, England.
Falling in love with drama at the mere age of 10, Dan began to study the art of acting at Bolton based drama school, Club 2000. After 2 years of private tuition, Dan was educated at Rivington and Blackrod High School, where he found himself studying drama and acting for 4 years. Upon graduation Dan went on to study a 2 year, level 3 Acting diploma with Bolton College.
Whilst studying, Dan fulfilled many roles outside of education with independent theatre and film companies, Landing roles such as Kenickie in the world renowned musical "Grease", Will Parker in southern American musical "Oklahoma!" and Judas in Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Jesus Christ Superstar" (a portrayal which landed Dan the prestigious "Best Actor in a musical 2013-2014" award at the Annual Bolton Theatre Awards)
Following College he gained a further 2 years Acting training from industry professional Glen Mortimer at the "Stirling Academy for stage and television" before moving on to train with "ICAT" (The Independent Centre for Actor Training) under the tuition of professional Actors Simon Trinder (RSC, Shakespeare's Globe, Barbican and BBC) and Hollywood actress Adjoh Andoh.
With a substantial background in theatre Dan began to embark in a career on screen, fulfilling various roles in British television and Film, working alongside acclaimed British Actors such as, Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy, Sam Neil, Samantha Bond and Sheridan Smith.
Leaving 3 television dramas, 2 musical productions and an award for "Best Actor" in 2014, Dan is optimistic ahead of the next year and is determined to further his success and solidify a place within British television and film.
