Juan Carlos Diaz(II)

Juan Carlos Diaz, "JC" was born in Mexico City; legally migrated to Chicago in 86' where he was taught by the late Francisco Mendoza in arts at Jose Clemente Orozco Community Academy of Fine Arts and Sciences where he began to act in plays and painted school mural projects. Moved to Houston where he attended Jesse H. Jones H.S. and continued training under Marvin Hoffman who he assisted in various English Art programs. One of those 'Inner City' school programs inspired the book "Chasing Hellhounds; A teacher learns from his students" by Marvin Hoffman. He acted in several school plays under the late Mr. Richaard's drama classes. Graduated from Milby, then started a family. Years later he started two video production companies: Blackhorse Productions and Blackwater Productions. Produced several independent projects while collaborating with Houston talent to bring a Spotlight to Houston. He enjoys writing, directing, acting and developing skills in cinema. The second born of four children to Juan Diaz and Isabel Diaz. JC has three children, is divorced, an avid runner and loves to network.
