- Early Years:
Josetty's first acting job was at early age on a stage play named The Little Mermaid at Mocha Grana Theater in 1993 when she was only 6 years old. Since then, a world of opportunities then arose for her to work in acting and show business. Only two years later, she started working for an international stage play named Annie at Marsano Theater. At 11 years old, she was offered her first acting job in the big screen with the movie "Qué será de mí" based on a boy band life Joven Sensación. After a year, Hurtado performed along with her father Andrés Hurtado "Chibolín" at the Montecarlo circus for 4 seasons.
Career:
In 2010 Hurtado moved to New York City to attend school in the New York Film Academy - School of Film and Acting and then went back to Peru to join cast as a leading actress of popular family sitcom Mi amor el Wachiman season 2, where she got a huge countrywide recognition.
Simultaneously in 2012 she was chosen to be a contestant on El gran Show, Peruvian version of Dancing with the stars where she made it to the final four. Shortly Hurtado moved to Miami, Florida to continue her acting classes in NYFA. In 2013 she went back to Peru to co-star the famous sitcom Cholo Powers.
Hurtado joined the staff of Bola Roja Peru/ Red-nosed clown Peru which led her to co-star alongside Pitillo, worldwide famous clown, the Circo de la Alegría circus.
In September 2014, she rejoined the cast of América Televisión network Mi amor el wachiman season 3, which was Luces Awards nominated by the El Comercio newspaper.
Hurtado recently traveled to Los Angeles, California to restart her specialization courses in acting in The Sanford Meisner Center and The Playhouse West School and Repertory Theater.- IMDb Mini Biography By: CMM
