Caiden Shea

Caiden Shea is an American actor who was born in Boston in 2004, raised in Santa Monica, California and Pelham Manor, New York before moving to Nantucket Island. As a boy he acted in many musicals at the Dreamland Theatre (Beauty and the Beast, etc.) and The Theatre Workshop of Nantucket (The Wizard of Oz, Oliver, A Christmas Carol, A Christmas Story, etc.).
He made his film debut as Young Doyle in the romantic thriller Grey Lady (2017), the first major feature to be shot entirely on Nantucket; Eric Dane played Doyle as an adult. Young Doyle appears in the opening title sequence and in a series of flashbacks throughout the film. In one flashback a drop of blood falls from a fire escape onto his forehead as a boy, a moment that haunts him until he discovers the truth about his family as an adult.
Caiden later starred in Marco Bartkowiak's short film Brother's Spirit which premiered with Grey Lady at the Nantucket Film Festival. Brother's Spirt was shot on 35mm black and white film and later played at the Polish International Film Festival.
Caiden recently performed as The Masthead in Orson Welles' Moby Dick Rehearsed at the Nantucket Whaling Museum, and as the First Teenager in Graham Winfrey's romantic comedy feature Cape Carl.
