From Rio's ghetto, Thiago debuted on Film School with "Thy kingdom come" (2014). The movie was shot without financial support as the following "Melody of darkness" (2016) and "Before Today" (2017) would be, portraying LGBTQ and social struggles in Brazil. He was then invited to direct "Drawing" (2018) after a LA screening of his work.
On his own, he's been awarded in festivals such as the 46th Gramado International Film Fest - one of Brazil's biggest and most traditional film festivals -, selected through 25+ countries and broadcast on TV, besides earning a spot in the Brazilian Movie Academy. In early 2019 his project "Memoirs of the (non)existent me" would be one of the 12 selected among 400+ projects to be financed for production in a public contest. The movie was finished in early 2020.
