After a decent weekend at the box office, Ek Paheli Leela stated reasonably consistent during the weekdays, albeit on the lower side. As a result, the first week collections of the Sunny Leone starrer stand at 24 crore. Though one didn’t expect footfalls to be too high, they could have been better considering the kind of fan following that Sunny Leone enjoys. Also, her last major release Ragini Mms-2 had been a clean hit at the box office and hence something close to the eventual collections (50 crore) seemed to be on cards. As things stand today though, the Bobby Khan directed film would wrap up around the 30 crore mark.

Another release of the week, Dharam Sankat Mein, didn’t score much. The reviews were decent to above average and the word of mouth was far from being the kind that would have brought the film into the ‘must watch’ category.

The behind-the-scenes drama during the making of Bobby Khan's Ek Paheli Leela seems fodder for another screenplay altogether. It seems Sunny Leone, who is otherwise known to be a peaceful amiable soul, couldn't get along with one of her co-stars Mohit Ahlawat at all. As luck would have it, Leone and Ahlawat had a lot of scenes together, as they play husband and wife. They also had to shoot an intense love-making sequence.

Says a source from the film, "They were constantly at loggerheads. Mohit has always been known to be hotheaded. While others on the sets pampered Sunny, Mohit largely ignored her. This didn't go down well with Sunny and things came to a head between the two. By the time they came down to shooting the love-making scene, they were completely hostile with one another."

The source says Sunny Leone wouldn't do the love-making scene. Mohit too refused.

Their latest venture, Sunny Leone's Ek Paheli Leela, is surely on way to being another success for T-Series. Given its reasonable investment of 17.50 crore and the quite decent 15 crore opening weekend venture, Ek Paheli Leela will prove to be a profitable venture for producers Bhushan and Krishan Kumar as well as debut director Bobby Khan.

We understand from well-placed sources that the Censor Board office is being opened up on Saturday specially to give the censor certificate to Bobby Khan's Sunny Leone starrer Ek Paheli Leela. Says the source, "The film has already been granted an 'A' certificate. But the certificate has not been issued. The chairperson (Pahlaj Nihalani) didn't want the film's release on Friday to be delayed because of the Cbfc. He specially opened the censor office to grant Leela producers their certificate, and also to certify nearly 40 promos of teasers and songs for television." Two regional films, in Punjabi and Bhojpuri, were also certified on Saturday in spite of holiday weekend.
