Terry Benn

Terry Benn is a Canadian film and tv composer. His musical trajectory as a guitarist saw him playing in punk and rock bands in his early days, to music production for 10 years, and finally leading him to film and tv scoring. Terry got his start in the industry working with composer Michelle Osis in 2020 (albeit he did complete 2 short films POW and PEEPHOLE in 2015/2016). Using his highly refined production and composition skills, he has rapidly worked his way up from providing additional music for a handful of films to recently completing his 3rd feature length film and 3rd season of television in 2023 as composer. His recent film credits include, DARK MATCH (Dir. Lowell Dean), THIS TOO SHALL PASS (Dir. Rob Grant) ABANDONED (Dir. Spencer Squire) and FIXATION (Dir. Mercedes Bryce Morgan) to name a few. His recent TV credits include THE HAUNTED MUSEUM SE01+2 (Creators, Zak Bagan, Eli Roth) and URBAN LEGEND (Creator, Eli Roth) Terry's imagination, experimentation, and intuition for tone, combined with his willingness to explore new genres and sounds, provides him a firm grasp on delivering music that inspires and enforces the director's vision.
