Zine El-Abidine Ben Ali was born on 3 September 1936 in Sousse, Tunisia. He was married to Trabelsi, Leïla and Kefi, Naïma. He died on 19 September 2019 in Saudi Arabia.
General, he became prime minister in October 1987 and deposed Habib Bourguiba on 7 November. He was ousted by the Jasmine Revolution (first of the Arab Spring) on 26 January 2011. He fled to Saudi Arabia where he died.
