Eugene Washington Jr. is an Independent Film Producer with a plethora of film projects that he has developed. A few of his completed projects consists of short films, music videos and most recently a featured film, 2018. He was Associate Producer on a short film, which was accepted by the respected, Festival de Cannes in Cannes, France. Of the many projects that Eugene has produced, he prides himself in completing each project on time and under budget.
In 2018, Eugene completed a master's degree in Entertainment Business where he graduated Valedictorian of his graduating class. Having received a bachelor's degree in both film and marketing, Eugene demonstrates an exceptional ability to complete what he starts.
Eugene began his filmmaking career as a photographer in the New York City night circuit, under the mentorship of New York City's nightlife club entrepreneur and owner, Mike Mogul of 7days7nights. After learning the basics of still photography, his love for the camera culminated into a passion for motion pictures. He cannot envision doing anything else! He prides himself on his ability to take a project from inception to completion.
Eugene has honorably served his country by enlisting in the United States Army, where he was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division. Having served 18-months in an active combat zone, his experience, professionalism and ability to work within teams provides him with the essential tools to lead a team of filmmakers. His rush for life and fun is realized as he has experience jumping from a "perfectly good" aircraft. Now, as a veteran, Eugene allows experience in and out of active combat zones to assist in the edification of his appreciation for life, people and doing what he loves, and for him; he is in love with the art of filmmaking!
