Ross Theodore Rebennack was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. His mother, Samia (Animal Activist/Former leader in security sales) is from Dayton, Ohio and his father, Roger (CEO of HVAC distribution company) is from Indianapolis, Indiana. His younger sister Haley (dog trainer & digital marketing strategist) lives in Indianapolis as well. His ancestry includes Algerian, German, English, and Moroccan. Ross was primarily involved in sports (basketball, baseball, swimming) in high school, but joined show choir his final two years and appeared in one musical as Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors. He went on to attend Indiana University. While at IU, Ross received the National Provost Award for his work writing, directing, and acting in his original play "For the Family" a story about the American Mafia and its line of succession. This is where he met his actor mentor in Jonathan Banks (credits include "Breaking Bad" "Better Call Saul" and "Mudbound").After graduating from Indiana University with a degree in Theatre/Film, he moved to Los Angeles and began working in the film/television industry.

Having studied with some of the most accredited coaches and methods in the industry, Ross found a consistent home to work on the craft with Hollywood legend John Kirby where he still trains. Ross has appeared in many independent projects theatrically and commercially, including writing his own projects.

Some of his more notable projects thus far have been "Eddie." which swept many festival circuits domestic and internationally and is available on Prime Video, Voiceover work on the MGM+ docuseries about Murf the Surf, FazeClan's horror film "Crimson" directed by Gregory Plotkin (Get out, Paranormal Activity), as well as motion capture work on a few unreleased video games.

Commercially he has been seen in an international WhatsApp commercial.

Ross has also been a professional singer, rapper, and recording artist for a number of years as the vocalist and lyricist for a group called Slumbur Party. After taking a break from music from 2020-2022, he is returning to work on a new EP this years

Those who have seen Rebennack work in workshops and projects have considered his performances to be mesmerizing, captivating, and one of the most versatile actors they've witness. John Kirby has always adamantly said "his time will come soon" and that his work ethic is "one of the best he's had the pleasure to watch."
