Tanya Burr is an English actress, influencer and entrepreneur.
She was born in Norwich, Norfolk and began her career as one of the very first influencers on YouTube and Instagram when she was 20. She amassed over 3 million followers and worked with brands such as Dior, GHD and Sky. Burr has appeared on the cover of Stylist Magazine, Stella and Glamour among others.
Burr played the lead role of Ella in Confidence, on stage at Southwark Playhouse in 2018. Her television and film credits include BBC One's The Syndicate, Greta Bellamacina's Hurt By Paradise (available on Sky and Amazon), Sky TV's Twist, Marcus Harben's Followers (premiered at Frightfest London Film Festival August 2021). In 2021 she played El in the new audio drama series, Sebastian De Souza's (Normal People) Kid: A History Of The Future. And in 2022 she will star in her first lead role alongside Tom Basden (Afterlife) and Fabien Frankel (The Serpent) in Jamie Adam's new film, Venice at Dawn.
In 2021, Burr founded beauty brand, Authored, which has been featured in Harper's Bazaar, The Guardian and The Telegraph.
Burr is also a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador.
