Juarez Malavazzi Jr.

Juarez was born in the suburbs of São Paulo, Brazil. After concluding his studies in civil engineering during the military dictatorship in Brazil decides to go to Europe looking for new opportunities. Film has always been his passion. He wants to be an actor. He moves to New York and have been graduated as a filmmaker at New York University in 1991. Since than he have worked as 1st assistant director on feature films and advertising films for directors such as Fernando Meirelles , Caito Ortiz, Rafael Grampá, Lance Acord, Tryan George, Lope Serrano, Jeffery Plansker to name a few. Co director and cinematographer on the documentary film _Truckers (2007)_, along with 'Rodrigo Meirelles' and 'Patricia Oriollo'. It was executive producer at Movieart / Partizan and Prodigo Films in advertising productions. As a self-taught photographer his photos has been published at several magazines. He also have produced the album "Serenade for Michiko" from musician Nato Lima of Los Indios Tabajaras duo of Brazilian guitarists . As an actor he have performed in several plays at theater and television.
