Lesette Maxwell is a Colombian-American screenwriter, filmmaker, and actress, born on September 3, 1996. Lesette's most recent screenplay, "All Your'n", co-written with Ashton Avila, has been recognized with high praise and multiple scores of 8 from The Black List, and remained a top trending script through February 2023. Previously, Lesette was recognized with the Best First Time Director Award at the 2022 Top Shorts Festival for her work on her short film, Fish (2022). Lesette's original screenplay for Fish (2022) was a Semi-Finalist in the 2021 Page Awards. In 2020, Lesette was nominated for Best Actress at the Film in Focus International Film Festival for her lead role in Popped Culture. Since 2015, Lesette has been a screenwriting mentor for fifth graders in the Script to Stage program of Young Storytellers. When she's not working. Lesette loves spending time with her horses, and volunteering at animal rescues.
