- Additional Crew
Distinguished member of THEAMA, the first and internationally acclaimed inclusive Greek theatre company consisted of disabled actors in its main composition (such as the renowned actor and director Vassilis Oikonomou who founded THEAMA in 2010, Marina Besiri, Christina Toumba, Giorgos Iliakis, Maria Mourelatou and himself) as well as by non-disabled ones (such as Michalis Tamboukas and Efi Toumba). Among others, his course as an excellent actor has been expressed representatively in the documentary THE.AM.A. (2014), directed by Eliana Perifanou and Maria Sidiropoulou, which depicts the work of this exquisite theatre group and it was filmed mainly during the rehearsals and the performance of Edward Albee's first one-act play "The Zoo Story", a critically acclaimed production brilliantly directed by Vassilis Oikonomou. The park bench of the play -where Peter meets Jerry, who was played by Michalis Tamboukas- was theatrically 'transcribed' in the wheelchair used by Panos Zournatzidis, whose fine performance as Peter was also critically acclaimed. On the occasion of World Theatre Day (WTD) March 27, the documentary was broadcast that day in 2015 by the Greek TV network of Public Television.
