Sakile Odimo is an award winning, Los Angeles based writer, director, performance artist, activist, actress and singer, who has been working for over ten years. Her writing was first published in 2005, and since 2017 she has focused her creative work to primarily address and delve into the intricacies of sexual, racial, and gender inequity experienced in the United States. It has been highlighted in, Los Angeles Film Awards, winning Odimo the honor of runner up of Best Young Filmmaker. She has also been honored at the Lift Off Sessions, Unentitled Film Festival, First Time Filmmaker Sessions, and was featured in her first art installation, housed at Art Share LA.
