- South African-born Roydon Turner is a London-based businessman, philanthropist, film director, writer, and producer. Following a distinguished 20-year career in the arts, he transitioned to filmmaking, winning the London Independent Film Festival with his debut feature, Stones.
Roydon co-wrote, directed, and produced Heart of Hope during the pandemic, a poignant film about a young girl awaiting a heart transplant. His passion lies in tackling challenging subject matter through stories that are both uplifting and thought-provoking.
Iris Warriors marks Roydon's latest film. While musicals have long transitioned effortlessly from stage to screen, how many ballets have done the same? This question inspired Roydon to envision a new genre: ballet drama. This concept blends the captivating artistry of live ballet with the emotional depth and storytelling power of cinema.
Beyond filmmaking, Roydon serves as a trustee of the charity Live Life Give Life and as founder of Orgamites, a not-for-profit initiative teaching children about organ donation. It was developed in collaboration with Onassis Foundation, Team Margot, Canadian Blood Services, ESOT and his own company, All Good Co. Orgamites has received support from NHS England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.- IMDb Mini Biography By: GQ

There's always a way through, around or over these obstacles, finding that way is as big a part as making it.
