Ana Ming Bostwick-Singer is an Asian-American actor based in Los Angeles, CA, and a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College. She's a member of Tim Robbins' The Actors' Gang where she appears in shows and is a teaching artist, bringing The Actors' Gang Style to schools that lack arts opportunities of their own. She's drawn to characters and stories with strong inspirational story arcs whether in comedy or drama, on stage or on film.
Her starring role in the short film, "Only Here and Now," a WWII love story, written by an award-winning screenwriter of "Mulan," is in post production for a Spring, 2023, release.
Ana's appeared with the South Coast Repertory Theatre, the Ojai Playwrights Conference, in Lisa Loomer's "Class of 2020," and voiced the title character in the Center Theatre Group online animated production of "Sandy Koto."
Ana is a former aerial silks and harness performer, and taught and created shows for The Aerial Studio, owned by former Cirque du Soleil performers.
Ana grew up in Ojai, CA, with her screenwriting parents and her family dog, Roshi, where she developed a strong appreciation for the environment and an education that taught her how to think, not what to think. During the height of Covid, Ana tamed a wild mustang and volunteered at a local FoodShare.
