Mark J.T. Griffin (comes from lots of different places but this time around) was born in Wolverhampton. He is married and spend his time living and working between the UK and France. He divides his spare time between writing, music, drama, filmmaking, theatre and re-enacting Civil War battles.
Since the mid-eighties as a writer he has written numerous articles and short stories on subjects ranging from clocks to computers to Custer. In 1994 he wrote the acclaimed biography, "Vangelis: The Unknown Man" and in 1997 the new-age adventure novel Going Home. This was followed in 2006 by the novel "Richard of Eastwell" based on his love of history and theatre. "The Cathar Prophecy", his third novel followed in 2007 with "Angel House" was published in early in 2011. He has also published a book of short stories and poetry called "Fairytales, Poems and Prophecies".
He is an experience theatre director and recently wrote "An Evening with Spike Milligan" which was subsequently adapted for radio and broadcast in 2018. He is also an electronic musician releasing the album "E-Klek-Tik" under the name Gryffyn in 2013.
Since 2012 he has been working on "Lawrence: After Arabia" which follows the final years of T.E. Lawrence's life and suspicious death.
