After graduating from Georgetown University, Nick worked as a video editor for the National Parks Service, National Science Foundation, and Ken Burns' Florentine Films. He worked in accounting and finance for Sierra/Affinity before moving on to BRON Studios in a development/distribution analyst role. After leaving for a writing job in 2019, Nick has written and directed award-winning short films in addition to his commercial work, including a digital ad campaign for Halo Top ice cream.
Nick's scripts have been recognized as a finalist and semi-finalist in several contests, including Austin Film Festival Script Competition, Scriptation Showcase, Scriptapalooza, Screencraft Comedy, PAGE International, and Finish Line. He's spending Fall '23 as a speaker and panelist on the national festival circuit with his most recent short, The No Problem Zone, starring Eric Roberts. The No Problem Zone won the Grand Jury Prize for Narrative Short at the 2023 Mystic Film Festival and earned Sennott recognition as the festival's Best Emerging Director.
