Emily A. Vickers, born in Atlanta, Georgia, is a Director of Photography in the Southeast region. She started as a professional photographer in 2012, won over 100 awards, and had 27 national and international publications of her work before reaching out to the local filmmakers and taking behind-the-scenes photos. Emily then worked her way through the departments on film sets- from BTS Photographer and Promotional Photographer, Production Assistant, Gaffer, Assistant Camera, Casting Director, Assistant Director, Director, Writer, and Producer - though her main role and passion is as Director of Photography/Cinematographer. Emily has worked in every genre of film, but most enjoys working on documentaries.
