Simon Irris Rose (AKA "SIR") was born in Rhein-Pfalz, Germany, to Americans Mark and Lisa Evans. In the first ten years of his life, he moved six times, from Germany, to Maryland, California, Texas, Colorado, then Osan, South Korea. Shortly after 9/11, his family was returned to the states, when they moved to Maryland once again.
Homeschooled, Rose started community college at 16, where he received an Associate of Science, emphasis in Math, American Sign Language, and Music. He went on to get a Bachelor's degree in Performance from Brigham Young University - Idaho, minoring once again in Music.
Rose made his theatrical debut, starring as Red in the play "Wolfie." He did not act again until college, playing such roles as "Friend 1" in "Bielzy & Gottfried," "Muse" in "Fable Song," and "Dog" in "Clever Jack and the Pirates," all original plays by J. Omar Hansen. He traveled with "Bielzy & Gottfried," to NYC, competing in the Midtown International Theatre Festival. He then went on to web series and sketches, playing "Batman" in "Take It Off" by J.R. Timothy, and "Sarah Singleton" in "Happy Birthday, Swoop," for the University of Utah Student Media.
