Ai-Chan is an actress of Japanese and Mexican descent, best known for her role as Corrina Corrina in Walt Disney Studio's Timmy Failure directed by Academy Award winner Tom McCarthy (Spotlight, 13 Reasons Why, Win Win, The Station Agent, Stillwater). Timmy Failure is the first Disney movie to world premier at Sundance Film Festival.
She started in musical theater at age 7 and then went on to work in commercials, TV and film. On stage, she was Princess Ying Yoawlak in The King and I, Little Fan in A Christmas Carol, and a lullaby league munchkin in The Wizard of Oz.
On TV, she worked with Bill Paxton (Apollo 13, Aliens, Titanic) in Jerry Bruckheimer's CBS Training Day, playing the younger version of Katrina Law (The Oath, Hawaii Five'O). And she provided voiceover for Disney Junior's The Lion Guard as the snow monkey Kimyo.
In commercials, she appeared in travel, toy and healthcare advertisements. She paired with Kevin Hart to educate people about health care, for which she won a Best Actress Award in 2018.
She is also an avid horse enthusiast, competing in English saddle in equitation and jumping classes.
