Sarah Ceballos

Sarah Ceballos was born and raised in McAllen, which is about 15 minutes from Mexico along the southern border of Texas. She is of Mexican heritage, on both sides, and is fluent in Spanish. Growing up in the Rio Grande Valley meant dinner on Friday nights in Reynosa with her family. When Sarah was four, she would get up on tables to dance and sing with the mariachis. Entertaining and serving others is something that comes naturally to her. When Sarah was nine years old, she lost her father, her hero, and her best friend. The same person who always encouraged her to live life to its fullest and go for her heart's desire. Theater became a haven for her to heal and allowed her to open up again. Sarah's first musical was a local production of "Grease".

After working in corporate America and completing her doctorate (Ph.D.) in Organizational Leadership, Sarah went to New York City for a summer acting program, with nothing more than two suitcases, and never left. Outside of pursuing an acting career, Sarah is an Associate Professor of Management. She facilitates courses in communication, leadership, organizational behavior, human resources, and ethics. Further, Sarah also conducts research geared towards creating more advancement opportunities for people of color in the workplace and has been published in various academic journals. Additionally, Sarah also owns and operates her own production company, 336 Films, where she produces work that seeks to push the metaphorical envelope forward and shine a light on marginalized communities.

In her spare time, Sarah is an avid runner & enjoys traveling.
