Cotey Pope (they/them) is a Canadian artist, actor and comedian. Pope identifies as non-binary, trans, and queer and is an advocate in promoting works by LGBTQ2S+ artists and communities.
Living in Toronto, they became involved in the comedy and performance art scene, collaborating with artists Life of A Craphead, who inspired them to continue writing and performing their own short experimental works based in video and live performance. Their work has been shown at: DOORED, Toronto Film Festival, Toronto Biennial of Art, ART TO, LA Contemporary Archive, Contact Photography Festival, CBC and more.
