With The Challenge: Battle of the Eras season concluded on MTV, Johnny Bananas appears to have found a new side hustle, but not all fans are buying it.
The seven-time MTV champion just finished Season 40, finishing third place amongst the men, as he watched castmate Jordan Wiseley capture another title.
Just recently, Bananas claimed that the unique twist, known as the Karma Vote, was added to the season to prevent him from achieving his eighth win.
He called it the “Envy Vote” and accused other castmates of being jealous and giving him lower scores to prevent him from finishing in first place.
In the past several years, he has expanded his reality TV resume by appearing on other shows, including Peacock’s The Traitors and E!’s House of Villains.
However, within the past few days, he teased that he had something big coming to social media, and he is...

Was Drake’s gift card rejected on his livestream? (Photo Credit – Instagram)
It’s not every day that a rap superstar gets caught in an awkward situation like this, but during a Stake livestream event, Drake’s attempt at generosity backfired. As he fumbled with the card, trying to make the donation, he turned to fellow rapper Lil Yachty and exclaimed, “Bro! Embarrassing.” The cringe was real.
The event, which took place on June 3, saw Drake giving away $1M to fans, in partnership with the betting platform Stake. But things didn’t go exactly as planned when one lucky fan was supposed to walk away with $500. Unfortunately for them, Drake’s card didn’t play nice. “Drake’s card just got declined on stream,” one fan tweeted, sharing the viral moment.
However, while many assumed the card was Drake’s, a closer inspection revealed it actually belonged to Kick, the...

As someone who’s stepped into a WWE ring on multiple occasions, Bad Bunny knows sometimes it’s better to just tap out. One such occasion was his recent appearance on First We Feast’s Hot Ones — when he quit the spicy wings challenge midway through the taping.
It was apparent from the start that tearing through hot wings wouldn’t come easy for Bad Bunny. “It’s a problem because they’re so fucking spicy but it’s really good,” he told host Sean Evans near the beginning of the episode. “I should’ve asked my doctor before this shit.”

As the Scoville levels increased with each wing, Bad Bunny grew concerned for his stomach. “My ass is what’s going to be messed up when it’s time to sit down,” he said. “I’m worried about my colon.” Later on, he added,...

Cutscenes explores—and blurs—the intersection of cinema and video games.Eat the Night. The world outside is a gamespace that appears as an imperfect form of the game. —McKenzie Wark, “To the Vector the Spoils,” Cabinet, no. 23 (Fall 2006) In the work of French filmmaking duo Caroline Poggi and Jonathan Vinel, there is no clear divide between online and offline spaces, virtual and real life, physical body and digital avatar. Instead, as Alenda Y. Chang writes in an essay on their career to date, “a strange but also redemptive continuity between the virtual and the real” can be found.1 Born in 1990 and 1988 respectively, Poggi and Vinel are of a generation that came of age online; computers, video games, and digital technologies are central to their understanding of what constitutes culture and where it can be located. It is no surprise, then, that their ever-expanding catalog of work—which spans films of all lengths,...

LiAngelo Ball is the first breakout rapper of 2025, though up until now, he was better known as a basketball player. Def Jam, who reportedly signed Ball to a record deal (including his own label) worth as much as $13 million, is betting on that dynamic changing. The hefty contract came from the buzz of Ball, Aka G3’s breakout single “Tweaker,” a Kunica & Glockiecheez-produced track with the kind of earworm hook that either amazes or annoys you but refuses to get out of your head either way. Warning: Spoilers ahead for Goosebumps: The Vanishing!
Goosebumps: The Vanishing highlights recent hit songs while incorporating past eras as part of the show's season 2 soundtrack. Despite being the second season of the Disney+/Hulu show based on R.L. Stine's Goosebumps books, The Vanishing focuses on an entirely new story and setting. The approach gives Goosebumps: The Vanishing two sets of characters, considering part of the horror tale is set in 1994. Of course, the series honors that part of the timeline by using popular songs from musical artists at the peak of their popularity in that decade.
If songs from Beastie Boys and System of a Down aren't your cup of tea, there's a wide variety of other songs featured in Goosebumps: The Vanishing from genres like pop, hip-hop, indie, jazz, and alternative. From Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter to a Major League baseball player, Goosebumps season 2's soundtrack quickly...

Sza knows how to make an entrance. She had the world fiending so hard for her new Lana — first she announced the album drop for Friday at midnight, then kept everyone chewing our fingernails while she took an extra 15 hours to give it the right finishing touches. But it was worth it. Lana arrives just in time to tie a bow around the music year, just like her epochal blockbuster Sos did two Decembers ago. It’s officially part of the deluxe edition “reissue” of Sos, but it stands on its own,...

Few canceled music albums have reached mythic legend status quite in the same vein as the once-proposed collab album of J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar. It's the modern equivalent of the kind of mystery that Dr. Dre's Detox stirred once upon a time ago. Some fans and commentators continue to wonder if K. Dot and J. Cole still have plans to release said album, while others have questioned if it ever existed to begin with.
J. Cole confirmed the album's planned existence on his Inevitable podcast, where he has released multiple unreleased tracks this year featuring himself and Kendrick Lamar that would have wound up on a proposed collaboration project. The releases have fans holding out hope that this long-awaited album may still come out. It's clear now that entire tracks have been produced between the two iconic rappers - so why did the album never come out?

Violet Grohl has been hard at work on an album, The Hollywood Reporter has learned, and those who’ve heard her music say it’s fantastic.
The 18-year-old daughter of Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl, who has toured as a backup singer for her dad’s band and performed as a solo singer, is described as being “incredibly committed” to the music-making process and “to growing as an artist,” says a source. She’s been working out songs in a studio space gifted by her father for her birthday. Among her collaborators is producer Justin Raisen, who worked with Kim Gordon on her Grammy-nominated album The Collective in addition to previous collaborations with the likes of Charli Xcx and Lil Yachty.
“She’s a true torch singer,” says one source. “Her vocals are tremendous. She’s very talented.”

A new six-minute montage titled Mask Is Off: Chromakopia collects scenes from the making of Tyler, the Creator’s Chromakopia album. About two minutes in, you can see him rapping the first verse of “I Hope You Find Your Way Home” a cappella, and of course he’s not wearing the face mask on the album art. It’s also amusing in the next scene seeing him bop along to the verse he just recorded as he does a quality check.

The dentist’s high-end clientele boasts the likes of Post Malone and DaBaby.
Connelly’s niche involves crafting custom, diamond-encrusted dental work—you might not know it, but you have seen it. Having rappers on board like Kanye West and Lil Yachty, however, has come with certain high-end costs.

Despite previously enjoying a relatively glistening reputation, Connelly has lately been plagued by allegations raised by Milo Yiannopoulos, Kanye West’s former chief of staff.
Kanye West Chief of Staff suspects foul play
Yiannopoulos, initially hired by Kanye West for his short-lived 2024 Presidential Campaign, has accused the dentist of supplying West with nitrous oxide for recreational use.

The crew of a romantic drama starring Julia Fox has unionized with IATSE after a brief picket of the production on Thursday.
Workers on the film Perfect, reportedly a queer romantic drama co-starring Ashley Moore (I Know What You Did Last Summer) and Micaela Wittman (Shirley), secured a union contract after staging a six-hour strike on Thursday, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. According to a source, director Millicent Hailes — who has helmed music videos for Lil Yachty, Adam Lambert and Young Thug — was sympathetic to the effort, which helped accelerate the process.
The same source heard that after the crew asked for union representation, one producer offered bottles of wine to union representatives. (An IATSE representative states that the offer was deemed inappropriate and declined.) As of Thursday evening, the Simi Valley production had a deal with the union that was unanimously ratified by the crew. The team was then...

Last year, I spoke with Lil Yachty about mystique. Our conversation about his Let’s Start Here album got awkward when he told me he didn’t want to reveal too much about its creation. I asked him about plans to release a documentary he recorded about the project, and he told me, “I doubt I’ll drop it. Just like me not wanting to do any of these interviews. I don’t really care to talk about it, [because] you give it all away [when] you pull the curtain back.”

“Perfect” is set at a scenic-but-rundown lakeside resort in the California mountains in a time where climate change has contaminated the water supply. Fox will play a wealthy pregnant woman who is living out an escapist fantasy as she falls in love with a younger woman (Moore). Drake has surprise released a trio of new songs through his burner Instagram account @plottttwistttttt on Friday, weeks after he leaked three other songs earlier this month.
The new songs are titled ““Circadian Rhythm,” “Sod,” and “No Face,” the latter of which features Playboi Carti. “Sod” appears to be the same song as “Supersoak,” the track that Lil Yachty had originally leaked to Twitch streamer Kai Cenat last month. Yachty said that there were sample clearance issues on the track as creator Mr. Hotspot had religious objections over the sample use.

A year ago, Kai Cenat’s live event caused chaos. With a “huge festival,” he’ll turn over a new leaf.
Kai Cenat‘s big plans for the future include a “huge festival.” That’s how the streamer described Kc Fest, an upcoming event he teased on his stream.
For the most part, Cenat is keeping specifics about Kc Fest under wraps, but the Twitch star has revealed a few details about the event he plans to produce. Back in June, he claimed that the festival will be broadcast on a high-quality stream that will look “as if you’re watching on Amazon Prime.” Cost permitting, Cenat said that he would love to host Kc Fest in his hometown at Madison Square Garden.
Any time Cenat has talked about Kc Fest, he has hyped up the headliners he hopes to bring in for the event. In his most recent teaser, he told viewers that they can expect a lot of hype. “Kc Fest is going to be a huge festival,” he said.

Drake might be onto something about the future of celebrity documentaries. On Tuesday, he shared a huge data dump, purportedly 100 gigabytes worth of behind-the-scenes footage and unreleased music, via a burner Instagram account he appears to have kept under wraps for several months. Pilfering through the files feels like constructing a fan-made documentary of Drake’s generation-spanning career. There’s footage of a baby-faced Drake in 2008, reminiscing about the Chevy Malibu with the stained seats he used to drive, a rehearsal video of Drake and Rihanna in the Take Care era,...
