Eydie Faye is from the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and then moved to NYC where she wrote her first play, The Pages of My Diary I'd Rather Not Read. After work-shopping this play back home in LA (where she was nominated for an LA Weekly Theater Award) Eydie received a blind deal at Fox Searchlight. She went on to sell features to Disney and Paramount, has written half hour pilots for ABC, NBC and USA Network, as well as TV Movies for ABC Family and Nickelodeon. She also wrote and work-shopped a stage musical, Dear John Mayer, featuring music by Shoshana Bean. Eydie was staffed on Fuller House Seasons 2 and 3 and recently sold original series ideas to Netflix and Disney+. Eydie is married and has three young daughters.
