First and foremost Alexandra Georgi is compelled by the film medium. Since the age of 15, Alexandra has been a part of the Punk-Rock and Counter-culture scene. With her Master's degree in German literature, film theory and philosophy she brings a wide range of knowledge to her projects.
After fifteen years as a producer & production manager for various companies such as Anagram Pictures, Zero West, Avanti Media, Propeller Film, Story House, Argon Film and Doclights, in fall 2017 Alexandra Georgi started her owner-managed production company Android Dreams Film, to work on the development and production of fictional and non-fictional projects for an international market.
She is a co-founder and long-time board member (2005-2013) of Women in Film & Television Germany (WIFTG), Media:net, AG-DOK, the European Documentary Association and the Förderverein Kinderfilm e.V..
