Peter Alexander is an American filmmaker and entrepreneur known for his work on "Connections" (2015), "Connections Part II: Final Affairs" (2016), "The Centenarian" (2017), and "Walkin' the Way" (2018).
"The Centenarian" (2017), has garnered several awards including Best Picture and Best Director in the student category at the Hollywood Florida Film Festival. The film also earned a Best Actor nomination in the same festival. "The Centenarian," about a clandestine government agency blackmailing a professional hitman to track down a former agent gone rogue, also earned a trophy for Best Sci-Fi Film for February at the Global Film Festival in Los Angeles and Best Original Musical Score at the Cosmic Film Festival in Orlando.
Alexander made his first film while in high school, a feature-length production he wrote and directed called "Connections," about a boxer mixed up with the mafia. A sequel, "Connections II: Final Affairs" was filmed and released the following year.A Communications major at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Alexander is focused exclusively on filmmaking. He quickly gained a reputation for inspiring other students with his inventive ideas and pulling his film projects together with great efficiency.
In 2018, Alexander went on to write and direct his fourth film, "Walkin' the Way", a short, which was released in the fall of that year is up for a number of awards in the 2019 festival cycle. He is now in post production on a new short film called "One Foggy Night" (2019), which will be the first film of a three short series, all expected to be released this year.
