Dan Kairis
He was born in Chicago Il. and has lived his entire life in Illinois. He moved to the Fox Valley area as a youngster and has lived there since. He graduated from East Aurora HS. after attending the Oswego Il. School District through his junior year. He attended Western Illinois University his freshman year and transferred and graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Elementary Education. He was married to his wife. Allynn, in 1972 and has two sons and two grandsons.
Dan is an actor who has been credited in numerous productions the past few years. His acting career began after missing the opportunity to be in "Transformers: Age of Extinction" when out of state for an unscheduled shoot. He learned about Tailsticks Casting and appeared in an episode of Chicago Fire shortly thereafter. Since then he has appeared in more episodes of "Fire" and "Chicago; Med", "PD", and "Justice". He has also appeared on "Empire", Amazon's "Patriot" and a number of independent films.
(2017) was a busy year. Mr. Hollywood took the lead in a number of independent and student films. His dramatic talent was demonstrated as the father in "Quick Decision", a boxing trainer in "Don't Look Back" and a kidnapper in " Birch Ave." He displayed his comedic style in "Legend of Mr. Hollywood".
(2018) He has continued his hectic schedule. He appeared in supporting roles in "Dylan" and in the PSA "Injustice".as lead in "The Shining Class Final" and "Righteous Hammer". As of July, he has taken center stage in "Love's Last Dance" which was completed in September to rave reviews at its initial screening.He began his talent behind the camera by directing "Table8".
(2019) Started off with a bang with his involvement in the production of "Mulligans Abound" as director, with a cameo appearance as Mr. Hollywood. "Mulligans Abound" is the story of a number of regulars who mingle at the bar. Production and was completed in early spring. He also participant in the role of a heart patient in a corporate promotional video for a major pharmaceutical company.
(2020) continued with more events. He was lead in "Spencer's Battles" starring as a sleazy boxing trainer. He also expanded his film experience by producing the film. (2021) Dan founded the production company, V.I.P. Productions LLC. The company is producing a series of dramatic thrillers. "Dollie's House' is the premier episode with more in various stages of production. Dan not only directed the film but expanded his film presence by producing the film. "Dollie's House" was selected by a number of festivals and received an "Outstanding Achievement" award. (2022) The development of the "Indie Productions" channel on the Roku platform was the beginning of another busy year. Dan produced and starred in "Bucket List" the second in the 'Intrigued; and the next in the series "FORE" is in Pre-Production. Two more stories in the series are scheduled to be released in 2023.
