Match #1: Aew International Championship Match – Orange Cassidy def. Aussie Open’s Kyle Fletcher The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Fletcher charged at Cassidy and nailed him with a brain buster for a near fall. Fletcher flew outside the ring with a tope to Orange. Cassidy shoved Fletcher off the turnbuckles, and Fletcher crashed on the apron. Cassidy followed up with a Ddt on the apron! And then Cassidy rocked Fletcher with a Beach Break on the arena floor. Cassidy connected with a dropkick. Fletcher hit Cassidy flush in the face with a dropkick. Fletcher used a delayed vertical suplex on Orange Cassidy. Match #1: Double Jeopardy Match – Claudio Castagnoli def. Rey Fenix The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
The winner earns a shot at the other man’s championship. Claudio ducked a reverse kick from Rey Fenix. Claudio caught a flying Rey Fenix and nailed him with a vicious backbreaker. But then Claudio got bounced around with two tope suicidas from Rey Fenix. The third time was not the charm, though, as Claudio caught Rey and then dropped him across the barricade outside the ring. Rey Fenix walked the top of the barricade and clobbered Claudio with a hurracanrana onto the floor. Bryan Danielson and Wheeler Yuta watched the match on a monitor backstage.

Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which features seven matches this week. In a change-up this week, we’ve got Tony Schiavone and Matt Menard on commentary. So let’s get into the review!
Match #1: Action Andretti def. Nick Comoroto
My Thoughts: If it wasn’t for the fact Action Andretti is on a hot streak you would have expected Nick Comoroto to pick up the easy win, especially considering the size difference. But no, instead Andretti held his own against the big man and there were a number of near falls which amped up the excitement. Eventually Andretti hit a Victory Roll for the 3 count.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Skye Blue def. Angelica Risk

It’s Monday so you know what that means, it’s time for our weekly review of Aew: Rampage! This week’s show features Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, Jim Ross and Chris Jericho on commentary. Now let’s get to the review…
Match #1: Sammy Guevera def. Konesuke Takeshita
My Thoughts: When Sammy Guevara isn’t messing around with the Jsa or p*ssing off fans with over-the-top affection to his wife Tay Melo on TV he Can actually wrestle. And thankfully that’s what happened here, as Gueara and Takeshita really delivered a great opening match. I wouldn’t have had Takeshita lose, but as other have noted – he probably lost to push the Don Callis angle. Which I guess I can live with, if it means Takeshita gets to the next level in Aew.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: House of Black (Brodie King and Malakai Black) def.

The world is in for a treat when All Elite Wrestling sends the signal from Canada Life Center in Winnipeg on Wednesday, March 15.
Aew Dynamite and Aew Rampage will air from Winnipeg on Wednesday and Friday, respectively, marking only the second time that professional wrestling’s newest major player makes the trek north. Jericho is often considered among the greatest professional wrestlers in history and certainly one of the best to ever represent Canada.
In 2018, Jericho left WWE for a dream match against fellow Winnipeg native Kenny Omega. The match was brokered by another Winnipeg professional wrestling personality, Don Callis, and it headlined New Japan Pro Wrestling’s (Njpw) famed Wrestle Kingdom card at the Tokyo Dome. Jericho says it’s fitting for Aew to debut in Winnipeg due to the influence that match had on the eventual formation of Aew.

Match #1: Red Velvet def. Billie Starkz
My Thoughts: What a cracking start to this week’s Elevation. Red Velvet and Billie Starkz put on a great competitive match that made Bille Starkz look good in defeat and was a great showcase for Red Velvet – who’s surely going to be the one to, given recent events, dethrone Jade Cargill? Loved this one.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Dark Order (John Silver and Alex Reynolds) def. The Workhorsemen (Jd Drake and Anthony Henry)

Andretti and Guevara began the match for their respective teams. They traded holds, countering one another until there was a standoff. Finally Sammy blasted Action with a thrust kick, having baited him in. Action used a springboard dropkick on Sammy but Sammy fired back with a corkscrew dropkick. Sammy chopped Andretti in the chest. Sammy flew over the top rope with a twist and landed on Action. Sammy went for a top rope hurracanrana but Andretti landed on his feet and followed up with a Spanish Fly for a near fall. Starks and Jericho tagged in.

Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which features 9 matches on this week’s show – the first Elevation of 2022! We’ve got Paul Wight and Matt Menard on commentary, so let’s get into the review.
Match #1: Hikaru Shida def. Tyra Russamee
My Thoughts: This was a typical Aew squash match of the highest order, with Tyra Russamee taking a beating from Shida – only avoiding Shida rather than offering any of her own offence.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Varsity Athletes (Tony Nese and Josh Woods) def. Pillars of Destiny (Hunter Grey and Paul Titan)
My Thoughts: This was decidedly average. Both teams seemed to struggle making this one feel like a smooth wrestling match and instead felt too scrappy to make any impact.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #3: Matt Hardy and Isiah Kassidy def. Manny Lemons and Atiba

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which emanates from Chicago like the rest of this past week’s shows. We got a tight 7-match card (thank god) so let’s get right to it!
Match #1: Josh Woods & Tony Nese def. Brandon Gore & Storm Grayson
My Thoughts: Again? Really? Well at least Nese and Woods are getting work. Work against jobbers but work nonetheless. Though we didn’t need two matches a week from those guys Imho, especially when both are squash matches.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: Marina Shafir def. Laynie Luck
My Thoughts: This match felt like a step back from the work Shafir is doing in her tag matches with Nyla Rose (who was at ringside here), with a number of iffy-looking moves from Shafir that even Taz points out on commentary!

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, the opening salvo in the Aew wrestling week. We’ve got a repeat of last week’s commentary team, Excalibur and Matt Menard, for this episode so let’s see what the show has to offer!
Match #1: Julia Hart def. Alice Crowley
My Thoughts: Another good outing for Julia Hart who, every week, gets better and better, smoother and smoother. She really feels like she’s embraced this new character and it’s made her look a lot better in the ring. I do hope House of Black continues given the rumours about Malakai Black at All Out this past weekend.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Josh Woods and Tony Nese def. Jordan Kross and Renny D
My Thoughts: How much of a squash was this? I’ll tell you… Renny D didn’t even get an official tag into the match!
